We were appointed numerous projects by our client in Ashford, Kent. To highlight some of the work we have carried out we will be showcasing the construction of new office space, meeting and plant rooms in a working factory.
The scope of the project included but was not limited to building new office space and meeting rooms on the existing mezzanine which included:
- Relocation of all HVAC and electrical containment
- Construction of new office & meeting room
- Complete M&E installation to new rooms
- Plastering to new walls
- Acoustic fireproof flooring to new office & meeting room
- Suspended ceiling grid to all new spaces
- Full decoration and joinery package, including windows
- Flooring to all new areas
The project required the team to go through several pre start checks everyday to comply with the clients H&S regulations in regards to keeping the facility free from contamination and disease. We had implemented robust methods to control these factors during any project we carried out at the factory.
Work was overseen and co-ordinated by our Project Manager, who managed our direct labour and trusted sub contractors as well as scheduling material deliveries to not affect the busy factory’s delivery schedule
New internal studwork was installed on newly laid acoustic, fireproof flooring immediately after the existing HVAC and M&E had been relocated to the newly constructed plant room. Once the M&E had been installed, the wallboard, doors and windows were fitted and plastered. Full decoration, tiling and ceiling installation followed.
